Picture Books
 
Mostly used for childern to read.  There is at least one picture on every page the story can be told by using the pictures.  The book is designed to help childern learn how to read.  However, childerns picture book were not as popular in the 18th and 19th century, as they became in the early 18th and 19th century.
 
Some examples of picture books are
-Where the Wild Things Are
-The Tale of Peter Rabbit
 
This is do to the fact that these book are mostly pictures.
